Softie The Film follows Boniface “Softie” Mwangi, a fearless political activist who has long fought injustices in Kenya. Now, he takes his fight to the ballot, running for office in a regional election. From the moment he casually tells his wife, Njeri, about his decision—accompanied by a hesitant laugh—Boniface approaches each challenge with unwavering optimism. But as his idealistic, clean campaign clashes with deeply entrenched corruption, he quickly realizes that taking on political dynasties comes at a personal cost.
